Diving in the Peruvian rainforest – part 1

Diving in Lake Titicaca

Wreck dive at Cinchas Islands, Peru

Peru offers 3500 kilometers of nearly unexplored and virgin scuba dive destinations. The cold Humboldt current is the worlds most important fishing area with about 10 % of the entire worlds fish catch being extracted in these waters. The Peruvian sea is a soup of nutrients and therefore it is no miracle that it harbours a huge but little known biodiversity and an incomparable biomass. Divers wont forget the sheer amount of animals. This video shows a dive in a ship wreck at the Chincha Islands in Peru.
